Default i finally got answers...im not a bad mum

my ds2 is one of those kids who in shoppin markets runs off, climbs out of trolleys, pulls things off shelves etc ALL the time. i felt like a useless mum esp bein it my 2nd child

well took him off to see his paed today (about another issue) but discussed his behaviour. ds2 is 2 yrs and 2 months. his language and comprehension is that of a 18 month old, however his height is of a 3 yr 9 month old, and weight of a 4 yr 6 month old. apparently big kids who are slow to develop language etc its normal for them to behave as ds2 does. the doc said physically my son can do much more than he knows is appropiate and doesnt understand runnin off isnt acceptable etc. he said it should ease up by xmas but until than to avoid takin him shoppin etc as much as i can to save my sanity.

im just glad to finally get some answers lol

    sorry just had to share

I'm glad to hear that there is an explanation to put your mind at ease. I have a friend in exactly the same position. Most people seem to think this kid is a monster, but she is really sweet, but just is unsure on how to control herself.
    Good luck!

That's great that you have some answers! He sounds really tall! I suspect that once his language improves he will understand more and be able to communicate with you better and you'll all be happier. that happens REALLY soon.
