Hi ,
I am soon to have 2nd bub and have a pregnancy pelvic conditon (SPD) which has me on crutches , unable to lift toddler and moderate pain most of the time. (Can get really bad but generally can just about manage it). My Obsteo has suggested inducing me at 38 weeks and on a bad pain day I agreed thinking that seeing as the baby's head is engaged it could be putting pressure on my pelvis an the longer the baby stays inside me the more damage it could do to my pelvis.
I have since read up a bit on being induced and dont really like the sound of it (higher C Sections, baby not being fully developed, more pain etc) and wondered if anyone else out there has any suggestions. My hubby is keen for me to have baby asap as he is away on business shortly after the birth for 2 months and if I had the induction on the agreed date then I would have him home with me for a week after the birth guaranteed. (I have no family here and am new to Brissy so not much other support really).
My last birth was natural and I was very keen to replicate that but i am very confused an I dont want a clinical birth that is more painful than it needs to be or an unnecessary C Section.
Please help!
Thanks
