I never had one myself but have organised a few.

a few that spring to mind... I found dummies made from candy (like candy apple candy) for one, jelly babies in organza pouches, cookies decorated in 'baby things' shapes .. gee I seem to always use food things huh?

good luck.. hope your sister and yourself have a great time

    hi tylers mum.
i'm currently planning my baby shower with a friend. for favours i'm thinking i'll probably just do a couple of cookies wrapped up, but also considering a couple of tealight candles in holders, earrings, jelly babies in a nice little box ... we're also having a few games though, so i need to organise things for prizes as well and don't want to spend a fortune.

This site is aussie but the prices seem steep to me... maybe get inspired here and get the stuff at spotlight or wherever to DIY!

this site isn't aussie but has some cheaper ideas...

For mine me n my mum made chocolates in baby moulds (lil teddy bears, dummies, bassinet shapes etc....we bought the moulds a cake shop) and put then in little clear boxes ties up with ribbon that matched the theme of the shower.

I've done similar to what you would receive at a wedding - little sugared almonds. You can either tie them in a little fabric with ribbon or search online for little boxes.

    Have fun!
