I'm so LOVING my sewing machine!
I made a nappy bag (that's sort of beach bag sizedgood for MCN though!) last night
Here 'tis (and for those who can't view the images in the thread...check these links out1, 2 and 3)
It has 3 internal pockets (one zippered) and 3 external pockets. And I'm really quite proud of it for a first effort - although I'm annoyed with myself for not thinking about pattern matching it on either side of the bag...but you live and learn!

Tam STOP you are making me so jealous i really would have loved a sewing machine for xmas...I wanna sew heaps..
Will wait til mum comes over next month and maybe go with her to a sewing centre and get one.
With the nappy baby did you have a pattern or just make it up?

That is so cool
I own a really good Jenome that has hardly been used, but I seriously suck at sewing. Did you do your own pattern?
