    Default Infected fingers! Help Needed!

    Dear all,

I just gave birth last week and is really new to this role and realised that my DS is having some greenish mark near to the fingers and is a bit swollen like when we have ingrown nails.

What should I do about that? Is there something I can do to decrease the swell or should I going to the doctor now?

Not sure what to do? If a visit to the doctor is required? I am in Keysborough in Victoria and not sure whether anyone has any recommedations?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much!

    Jacquie

im not sure what it is, but you can take him to the maternity section, or hospital you gave birth at, they help you out for 3 - 4 weeks afterwards with any issues..

i'd go and see, give them a call, and ask them what they think

there are a few ways to do anything, but my way is always right.

my 3 year old dd has this occasionally. she bites her nails and sometimes she bites too far down. i just sterilise a pin then prick the greenish area and squeeze out all the yucky pus. theni bathe her finger in some detol and water.

i would consult a dr first tho considering the age of your little one.
