Yeah agree with others, try not to worry these days the blood type is a lot more common and the doctors know exactly what there doing. All you should be doing now is enjoying your motherhood and getting excited. Good luck with everything everything will be fine.
Not sure what the test was Jazzlyn.....the blood test people didn't say, just told me that they were testing to see if I had developed antibodies. If I had, they couldn't give me the Anti-D shot. In response to you having spotting and needing the Anti-D shot, with my first pregnancy I had spotting during the first trimester. I know that my OB/GYN only gave me the one shot of Anti-D as the spotting was very minor and then just the normal 28 & 34 weeks shots. This was 8 years ago, so it might have changed?? Check with another doctor if you are unsure or unhappy with the answer from your GP.
