When I was about to be discharged from the hospital on Christmas Eve, the rude doctor [the one who pointed out I was too young and needed an abortion, even thoughh it was none of his business]... said because I have B-Negative blood, and have had bled a couple times during this pregnancy, and was given Anti-D, that in future I may not be able to have another baby after this one.
Has anyone else been told this about their blood type? He said that my body will attack the baby's antibodies next time around, therefore I will most likely never be able to have a baby again without it resulting in misscarriage. Even though I am not planning another baby, perhaps in 5/6 years time I will be, then what? I am only 16, how will I be able to concieve again?
I am really worried!! I should have asked more questions, but I was standing there shocked about all of it. Has anyone else been told this? What was their outcome? If I have more Anti-D now, will it be better for future pregnancies? Also, if I have negative blood and the baby's father has positive blood, does that mean it will definitely have positive blood, or is there a chance it may also have my negative blood?
