When born did you babys face look like it did on the ultrasound?

I was just looking at the face shot of our bub, taken at 19weeks during a 4D scan and was wondering how much if at all she will look like she does in that photo.

Did you bub look like it did in the ultrasound pic? If so was it normal or 4D and how many weeks was that scan picture taken at?

I only had normal u/s with my other two pregnancies. I got a bit scared because they both had an overbite like a character in The Simpsons. They didn't look like that when they were born though. In fact the normal u/s at 19wks didn't really give any indication as to what the baby's face would be like when it was born. Not sure about 4D though. Don't stress if he or she looks a bit funny as the face is still developing. Did you get to find out if you are having a boy or girl? I bet you'd get a better idea from a 4D scan than the normal one.

Nothing alike for us.
MIL was running around crowing about how they always (er how many as have you seen?) look like their as shots when they come out.
No they don't and I'm glad too as the as 3D shots were hidiouse lol.

aMy sil had a 3 or 4 D u/s done some time after 20 weeks and i watched the dvd and yolu could sooo tell baby had daddies ears, and mummies puffy full lips and that it hard heaps of hair and really chubby face..and thats how emalee came out they didnt know her sex till she was born, but she looked to pretty to be a boy

I had a normal US... and my first words to Cobey when I held him was a very lovely "Awwwwwwwwww.... you look just like the alien on your ultrasound."
hahaha poor kid came out with a complex!

We had a 4d scan done at 30w for our DD - she looked (and still does) identical to the photos....We had a 4d scan for our DS a couple of months ago for our DS and he looks the same as DD - same nose and forehead - we cant wait to meet him to see if its the same

It think the later on in the pregnancy the more similarities you will see

DS looked like he had a hare lip in one picture (sorry, I know that's not the PC thing to call it ) but it was just a shadow, apart from that he looked very much like the photo.

And this baby looks EXACTLY like he did, it's actually pretty cool!!!

With DS I had the normal ultrasound and he definitely looked like his U/S pic! Not so much now tho

No I don't think so.

But I guess the actual ahape of her face must have been the same. Never compared to closely though.
