Default Dr Oz- YOU on a diet

Is anybody reading this fantastic book and following the plan? I am finding it very interesting and I have picked up a lot of useful information. I have also lost about 3 inches off my waist and I am only on day 5.

I am very pleased with the knowledge I am gaining also.

It is difficult to explain in a few sentences but if you google "you on a diet, dr oz" you will find info. Oprah has him on her show every now and then. He says to forget about weighing yourself, it is the waist measurment that is vital. Wholegrains are important becasue they stop you from feeling hungry. That is a key compnant to the diet. Also is is not a diet like a typical type just for now diet, it is a eating plan for life. The book is full of info on how your fat is stored, what it looks like and what the dangers are. He focuses on the health issues rather than being thin because it looks good, which I find refreshing. There is also a website called real age where you can take a test and find out how you lifestyle and eating habits affect your bodys real age. Let me know how you go in your searches.

I've got Dr Oz's book and I've found it to be cutting edge information, since it's written by a cardiologist at the top of his field- also very motivational and somewhat humorous.

I've reduced my weight by 7kg using the information.
I especially love the term 'Authorised U turn' for when things go bad and you feel like giving up.
The book is a treasure trove of information.

It's worthwhile if you're you're going to refer to it for information. I find the book very motivating because it's so factual about how the body functions and de-bunks a lot of 'dieting' myths.
