Default Do you wash your bamboo fabric before cutting it?

Just wondering what's best - do you prewash your bamboo before you cut it? I've only ever made pockets or Ai2s with bamboo fleece inserts/clip in's and I don't prewash the fleece, and never had any probs (they do shrink a bit but I allow for that). Now I want to make a few bamboo towelling fitteds for night nappies, with a inner layer of suedecloth. I thought I'd ask rather than experiment since its so expensive!

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It will shrink so I would definitely wash it first.

I hot wash twice and dry in the dryer to make sure it has shrunk properly.
