    Question Any solutions please?

Im after some advise on how to divert a 10month old from throwing huge tantrums & screaming fits when I go to change my newborns nappy. I have tried to keep her occupied, divert the attention, ignore the tantrum, praise her when Im finished etc but nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks!!

That's a tuff one. A 10 month old is still so young. You may have already tried these ideas........

A special toy that she only gets to play with at bubs nappy change time. (Blowing bubbles inbetween wiping the little ones bum).

A 10 minute DVD that only comes out when bub needs a nappy change.

Change bub on the floor and talk to your 10 month old about what you are doing.

    Good luck

Could you change your 10 month old at the same time (if she is dry, just do her nappy back up) but if you lay them next to each other she might not realise the newborn is also having a nappy change. Maybe lay them under a mobile or something together.

Also a big to you. you must be superwoman at the moment with a 10 month old and a newborn.

Put a pair of her pants on your head, flop the legs to either side of your head, and wobble them back and forth, and loudly sing "Jeans head, jeans head, Mummy is a jeans head!"
