Phillipino Mums?

Hi there

My sister-in-law has just moved to Australia from the phillipines, she is 25 and just had her first baby, a boy on 1st May 2006. As this is the first time away from her home land and her family it has been a little of a daunting experience. I am wondering if there are any phillipino mums out there who Ping can network with as support.

We are both on the Gold Coast, Southport in fact, so if there is anyone out there or any associations/groups could you please let me know. I am trying to be as much help as I can, but contact from someone who knows her language etc would be a great help.

I am yet to catch up with her and introduce her to Bub Hub but will do that in the next few days so she can be online herself.

Mum&Bub - Ping is from Southern Leyte, she would be best to tell you more. She has only been in Australia since July 2005. Whereabouts do you live in Australia?
