    Question cloth pad help

    hi there!
    can any of you cloth pad makers help me out?
    i've just got some material in the post, and i want to have a go at making some pads.
    what order do i put the materials in? like, obviously the absorbent one goes in side the outsisde layers, but what goes on the outside? what do you do?

    oh, and i've ordered 3 different fabrics, and i don't know which one is which!!
    i've got print PUL, suedecloth and a flanelette one, but don't know which is which, can some body tell me what the difference is so i can figure it out lol? one has a plasticy back if that helps?
    thanks =]

    Suede cloth would probably go nicely on the outside (the side that goes against your hoohaa) as would flannelette.

    Absorbent bits go on the inside, directly under the outside-hoohaa layer and the outside-undie layers.

    PUL usually goes on the other outside (the undie outside) but beneath a plain coloured piece of fabric since PUL is a bit plastic-y and feels better under fabric.

    PUL will be like plastic, Flannelette is more like fluffy-ish cotton and suede cloth is like that soft fluffy fake-leather kind of couch material.

    Thats the best I can do.

    I really hope that helps a TEENY bit.

    I LOVE flannelette btw, its my favourite!

    I'd stick it right in the middle. Put the bamboo (if you have it) on top closer to the hoohaa-side layer.

    Well, I'd do that anyway.
