My DD has been suffering from a gastro infection for 7 days now. She started by throwing up every half hour for one night and so we took her to the doctors and he just said to give her plenty of fluids and bland foods. Once she stopped throwing up by day two, I reintroduced some more of her normal foods - including milk. Since then, she has thrown up once a day, sometimes twice. She is very wingy and clingy and really just isn't herself.

I don't want to take her back to the doctors unless there is something more wrong with her, but I was just wondering if this could still be the gastro infection. She has never been sick before, so I really don't have a clue what to do.
How long do these things usually last??
Should I give her some soy milk instead of cows?
Could she be feeling queezy? and if so, what can I give her to help relieve it?
She isn't sleeping so well either at the moment. Sorry about all these questions, but as you can see I am desperate for any advice. I just want things to go back to normal.
