Has anyone got their engagement ring online?

Just wondering what you had thought about the process? As my ideal ring http://www.goldenet.com.au/diamond-r...ProdCode=G3107 is this ring but can't find it in any stores and to make it is quite expensive.

So just wondering whether buying online would be ok?

As long as it is a reputable/legit site then there shouldn't be a problem. I notice they have a hotline as well, so maybe give that a call and make sure they do actually have real people working there

Make sure to read about about their 30 Day Money Back Guarantee and Warranty information. Keep ALL of the paperwork/transaction info, just in case what you get isn't quite what you expected when it arrives and you need to return it.

You don't want to drop 4k on a ring and not be able to return it because of some technicality.

It came with its certificates & ive had it checked out & valued - its valued at over $1,800 & i got it for AU$380 inc postage!

I have to admit i was a little apprehensive about buying jewellery online but in this case it worked out fine.

What CuriousDad said...and because it's an ".com.au" site you're protected by our consumer laws. (Caveat on that last point - international transactions from reputable sites are safe, but technically a grey area still exists re consumer protection as laws differ in each country).
