Duromine may be a quick fix but in the long run it's a pain in the butt!!!
I used duromine for 4 months.. lost about 15kgs... also lost a lot of sleep, became extremely moody and found myself having cravings for "bad"/fast food - i just wouldn't eat much of it...
After i lost my 15kgs... and then went off duromine.. everything went back to normal... including the 15kgs i lost plus an added 8... now no matter what i try i can't get past loosing 4 kilos!
I also found myself suffering from abnormal abdominal symmptoms - bloating, diahrea (sp?) and constipation - all similar to IBS.. after i came off it, after a series of tests - including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, internal (dildo) ultrasounds, pin prick tests, hydrogen tests and a range of blood tests... the only thing that they could come back with was an intolerance to dairy... even tho i had NEVER had ANY issues with dairy beforehand...i also now suffer with my sleep patterns and rarely feel like i have a good nights sleep...
I'm quite a fit person.. love exercise and generally eat quite well - i just sometimes have too much of it on my plate! I have successfully completed the Oxfam 100km trailwalker twice in under 30 hours, i train at least 3 times a week at an intense bootcamp style program called Heavy Haulers and attend Bikram Yoga at least 2-3 times a week also....
Whilst initially i blame myself for looking for a quick fix and being sucked in to the idea of Duromine... i now completely blame it for me finding it difficult to shift the weight.. i've been off Duromine for 9 months now and am still trying to pull the pieces back to normal...
Quick fixes aren't the way to go.. you'd be better off going for the shakes or lite n easy or something instead?!
