In one of my attempts to become organised, I decided to shop at Woolies only once a month. Regardless, I go to the fruit shop weekly and to the butcher about the same.
Of course this system is not full proof and I find myself attending Woolies/Coles if they have a good bargain (COSC right there) on a more regular basis.
My point to this thread is.............The other day I had to go to the supermarket. I had planned to do some stuff with the kids before I went to the supermarket. I found myself packing the esky with ice bricks and then putting the esky in the car for the milk and ham that I was going to buy and then go straight home.
My first thought was "I have never done this before". My second was "Oh, Christ, I am turning into my mother". My third was "Why, you live two minutes away from the shops". My fourth thought was "How did we survive so long without the continued refrigeration."
These thoughts occured on Friday and the esky is still in the back of the car.
I am fighting the Old Sea Cowness. Help Me.
