I started my submission yesterday...but it's going to need some major editing! So many things to say that's it's turning into a book

Maybe I should bail Ms Roxon up next time she is at the park up the road and have a chat :P Thanks for this, will be submitting, just writing some notes otherwise mine will become a book too!

I too think all women should be able to use a midwife, just want them to apply the new policies to both the public and private sectors as if all the private patients went public the system would not cope very well.

Me too! (about my submission turning into a book

). I think I'm going to have to put my points/ ideas/ opinions down in bullet point form rather than paragraphs IYKWIM, 'coz it will definitely turn into the next 'War and Peace' novel

Has anyone sent in their submission yet? I've nearly finished mine. I think I've included everything that I wanted to. I'm sure there are a lot more points and issues that I have missed, but hey, I confess I'm not an expert in these matters so I can only voice my own opinions and wants and desires

. Once I'm done I'm more than happy to share if it helps anyone.

Wow - thats amazing, I was only just thinking about this very subject a couple of days ago, and why is it that in our current age of technology, something so natural and beautiful, still manages to cause so much pain, suffering, and trauma so often?

A lot more really needs to be done to provide women with the care and support we really deserve at possibly the most important time in our life.

I'm really hyped up about this issue now and can't wait to put my thoughts to paper. I've also sent the link to all my friends so they can have their say too - if it wasn't for Bubhub,

I probably wouldn't have even heard about this

- how typical is that for obtaining pregnancy/maternity related information

trin. This really does need to be shared around so as many woman as possible can submit their stories etc.
The Aust Gov doesn't really advertise these things, maybe we should contact one of the morning shows about it
