    Question glycine for eczema

    HI

I was reading in practical parenting about glycine to assist eczema and helping people with salicylate intolerance eat a wider range of foods.

Has anyone used it? I bought some today to trial on my husbands sal intolerance.

It is also used for kids with ADD and similar disorders.

I only looked at a couple of the links but could not find anything that said it helped with eczema or sal intolerance. Where does it say this?
I wouldn't give this supplement without geting professional advice. Claims to assist with serious health problems and may have interactive or unknown effects in otherwise healthy people.

no its not in any of the links, it was in practical parenting magazine.

I spoke to the chemist this morning (who has an interested in intolerances) and he told me about it also being used for ADD kids.

I'm waiting to see what Sue Dengate from failsafe thinks of it.

I just found the article, it was in september's issue of practical parenting along with lots of other information on eating for eczema including flaxseed oil, fish etc etc.

If anyone wants me to scan it and post it somewhere let me know.

    HI yall

Heres' an update, my husband has mild to moderate salicylate intolerance, hes been taking DMG for about two weeks and all it seems to have done is given him a tummy ache! what a shame.

It might work for those with more severe intolerance....
