Playdough Recipes

I'm going to start making play dough for my DS, just wanted to get some recipe ideas on how to make it?

I asked this question about a year ago and here is a link to the excellent replies I got. I use willsmum's recipe all the time so I have cut and pasted that here - it is great!

Willsmum play dough recipe:

This one makes up a smaller amount & lasts for months in an airtight container

1 cup plain flour
1 cup water
1/4 cup salt
2 tbspn cream of tartar
1 tspn cooking oil
few drops food colouring

mix over low heat in medium saucepan til comes together (you'll know when)

Let cool til you can handle it then knead until smooth.
