can the pill cause a false negative?

Well lately ive been suffering some "symptoms" that were all too familiar to me 10 odd months ago.

Ive been on the pill for about 8 months now.. And lately have been feeling a bit off.. For the last week or so I have been feeling something strongly resembling "morning sickness".. ive been getting random toothaches and my last period only lasted 2 days and was very light..

So, I did a home preg test and it came up negative..

But I cant shake the feeling its wrong.. So Im wondering can the pill effect the results?

Im worried that if I am pregnant, something could go wrong if I keep taking the pill..

Short of seeing my Dr is there any advice you can give? Or similar stories to share?

I do agree here, and I think you should get a blood test asap to confirm either way.
