Default Mums in Northern Suburbs Sydney

Are there any new mums foreign to Sydney living in the Northshore (Lower) area interested in starting a mothers coffee/park/walk group to meet once a week?
There are lots of individual nationality mother's group but not an international group.
I am interested in starting an "(International) mums without families in Sydney" mothers group.

    Cheers!

*cough* what is the "Lower North Shore" exactly?

I live in the City, so not North Shore at all but I can hop (or waddle) onto a train if need be.

I'm also technically not a mum yet, just an incubator who's getting her kidneys kicked to a pulp as she types.

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday are good days for me.

Beany.... Welcome! What's your good waddle day? We'll try to find a train friendly location for everyone.

    Any suggestions?
This is mine:- There is a nice cafe at Stanton Library in North Sydney... Jagos and a park just next to it if the kids are coming along. North Sydney station is round the corner. Or we could meet in the city... QVB has a couple of good cafes or the Botanic Gardens or Circular Quay. Crow's Nest, Cremorne and Neutral Bay all have good cafes too. I am willing to commute too... so no dramas on my part.

Maybe I should start a new thread for mothers interested in joining us even if they arent from the Northern Suburbs

Good waddle days for me ... Wednesdays and Fridays are usually free, though Mondays and Tuesdays before 3pm are doable, too

I vote CBD for sheer laziness on my part - within waddling distance for me and makes pretty much any day (before 4pm) doable.

    Hi all,

Mind if I join in? I am mum to 3 month old Ruby and live in Manly. I'm originally from the UK and think the idea of an International Mums Group sounds like fun! I'm just getting the hang of this online chat stuff........!?

Just going to work on my signature......

    Regards,
    Jo
