Piercings - the one above the lip???

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows what the piercing above the lip (sort of in the beauty spot area) is called, if it hurts, healing time and approx cost?

It's the Monroe (after Marilyn), I had mine done about 6months ago. Cost me $85 incl jewellery and healed fine, was sore for about a week but nothing too bad, it did hurt a little, but it wasn't too bad, I have had lots of piercings though

Hi

I have my lips pierced (top and bottom)
I know it as either madonna on monroe, and sometimes labret.
It costs about $70 depending where you go.
I got mine done for $35, as she has specific days it is half price.
It does hurt a little. I spose like any piercing. It's more of an uncomfortable feeling, when they pull and tug on it getting the bar thro etc.

As the others have said.. Monroe, Madonna or just beauty spot piercing.

I got mine done for $20 at a cosmetics plus. (not sure if you have them where you are from).

It hurt a little.. more then having my bottom lip pierced or labret anyway but still not too bad.

I had mine in for a few months, it never started to heal. The skin or gums or whatever it's called in my mouth kept on trying to grow over the back of the stud despite what size stud i put in. I ended up with this massive lump on the inside of mouth where the hole was. So i just took it out and then it finally healed fine

When i got mine done, i found it didn't hurt at all, just a bit of pressure when the needle went through.
Prices vary a bit depending on where you go.
But usually start from $60 up. Healing time is about 6-8 weeks usually. Mine looked fine after about 4 weeks.
If you get it done, go somewhere that have professionals ie: tattoo/peircing parlour.

and avoid Costmetic's Plus at all cost's, DODGY! Is all i can say. Half of them have never peirced before and that's why it's so cheap.
