Why is my 1 year old so grumpy all the time??

My dd has just turned 1 nd for the last 2 weeks she has changed so much, she has started throwing tantrums already!!!!

I just dont know what has got into her. and how to deal with it. As everytime she is told no or doesnt get what she wants she starts screaming and throwing herself about. obviously i dont want to reward her behavior but i dont want to seemun caring towards her either by not soothing her!!!

help !!!!

she is my 4th child but none of the others started with tamtrums quite so early so this is new to me

Is she tired or unwell? My ds cracks it big time when he's tired or unwell, but otherwise he's an angel.

Has she been getting enough sleep at night and through the day?

Have you introduced any new foods or increased her intake of any particular foods over the past few weeks?

no new food sleeps plenty and not unwell, maybe it is just her terrible twos strating early !!!!

she is not all bad though wouldnt be without her x

My son started chucking tantrum and headbutting the wall just before his 1st birthday. He mainly did it if tired but sometimes I think it was from frustration.
I found the only way to deal with the behaviour and to get it to stop from happening all the time was to ignore the behaviour. Giving him hugs and trying to soothe him only made him do it more.
