to the kids (& mums) whose dads are away. DH rang this morning before going to bed, celebrated Father's day with a few other dads at where else...the pub. Happy with his pressies & drawings from the kids though

We're off for a bbq at the PIL's to spoil pop, lucky he's home this shift. Gratefull to fill an otherwise rather flat day.

Let's hope dad's home next year (he's only had 1 father'sd day at home so far)

For you, your hubby and your kids. My DH is home at the moment - he cancelled a trip he was meant to be on because DD and I have been sick lately. Have yourself a nice glass of wine and try relax. Its tough when they are away for special occassions.

aaawww Maisymum, your DH is home for Xmas, how nice....mine is away, supposedly coming home New Year's eve...might just have XMAS & New Year celebs in 2009... All good.
BBQ was good, thank you. Kids are a bit grizzly now as no afternoon sleep, so dinnertime and off to bed.
