Smile I really want a baby!

    Hey!

I really want to have babies (I want 4 ) Ever since I was 6, I have wanted a baby. I'm not going to have a baby yet (lol, I am almost 14) but I was wandering what age is appropriate. Is 24+ OK?

    Thank you,

    Lullaby

As a mum of a young daughter... I'd say 24+ is just FINE! LOL

But, really as long as you are financially ready to support a child (or have that support within your family/partner), emotionally ready to be completely responsible for another life, and mature enough to be able to let your social life and hobbies take a back seat initially, then any (legal) age is ok. For some, they reach that stage in thir late teens/early 20's.... for others, it's not until their 30's.

My heart just skipped a beat! But then I read that you're not ready just yet for a baby. My advice..... wait as long as possible and live and do everything you want to before you think about it. Cos there's no turning back! You can't give the baby back when you've had enough.
When the time is right (when you're past 24!), you'll know.

I can relate to your feelings.

Only recently have I realised that it's better for me if I accomplish certain things before I even consider children.

I'm not as clucky should I say.

I work with children everyday, that's enough for me at the moment LOL

I always wanted babies early on too, i ended up having my first at 24 and for me it was a good age. You have plenty of time though!

i never thought i'd be trying to have babies just yet but here i am actively ttc! We started one month before i turned 25 so i reckon 24 is a great age

so many things can change in 10 yrs, one of my friends always wanted to have a baby young, but when she fell pregnant at 18 she ended up terminating the pregnancy... when ur in a relationship and emotionally and financially stable, things will feel 'right' if thats what u really want
