    Default Name tags for clothes

    Hey all!

Needing some recommendations for really good name tags for kids clothing. My son goes to daycare so they ask that all clothing is labelled clearly. I bought some last year but they are a plastic style of label (look nice but they fall off after only a couple of washes). I need some labels that will really hold up to lots of washing (and soaking).

Any suggestions? You can pm me with website addresses too.

    Cheers!!

Never used them before but both Brother and Dymo make the iron on labels. Apparently the Dymo range are cheaper but the length is usually about 3 meters in their tapes as opposed to Brother being 8 metres so you get what you pay for. Id sooner a Brother labeling machine as I like the quality of their labels and length of their tapes. Quality wise I imagine the iron on tapes would be much of a muchness. Maybe if you are concerned about the label coming off see if you can avoid hot washes and wash in cold/warm water instead of hot water.
Weve sold heaps and have yet to have people complain about them so they must be doing their job. Both brands are pretty common and the iron on tapes come in assorted colors.

Thanks for the advice! I had a chat to them and I really like the fact that they come with a guarantee. I'm going to try the semi-permanent ones as I do want the labels to eventually come off when I sell the clothes but she says they are guaranteed to stay on for 12 months. Oh and the free shipping was pretty cool too! Thanks for your help Ange&Seth!

I have a DYMO label maker, I don't really like it.

I ordered iron-on labels from "Stuck on you" and they are really good. Especially the round "clothing dots" as they are they right size to iron onto the actual clothing label that is already there.
