    Default TT...out and about??

    Hi,

We started our 3 y/o boy in real undies this week....has been going ok as we have been home and I put him on the toilet every hour. Still have him in a pull-up during sleeps and at night. Wondering what you guys do when going shopping or visiting? I'm a little hesitant in having him use a public toilet (I'm a real germ freak!!) but don't want to put nappies on him and confuse him. Are there any 'disposable' potties on the market or anything I could use over the public toilet?

    Thx girls

    Hi

You can get portable cushie tooshie thingos that go inside the toilet seat and I guess you could get some antibacterial wipes and wipe the seat if you are worried about germs.

I have also carried my own potty around with me in the bottom of the stoller in a plastic bag.

The best thing I saw/used when we went on holidays was a disposable potty from Europe called the potty flip. It was made of carboard and was excellent. They had it at the parenting expo the other year and I was going to buy a truckload of them this year but unfortunately they werent there

you can buy little fold up seats to put on the toilet.....more so they don't fall in or feel like they will. Check Kmart, Big W & baby stores

I just helped DD balance on the big seat if she needed to go on a public toilet. I continued to carry a pack of baby wipes - to wipe the seat, hands, etc.

Target have a potty that folds flat for travelling, I haven't used it though. I always had a potty in the back of the car & carried a pack of Dettol wipes in my bag if we had to use a public toilet. I always sat DD on the toilet before we left the house.

    Goodluck.
