Default what is needed for first few weeks...

I will be moving overseas about 4-6 weeks after bub is due so have no idea what I really will need in those first few weeks while I am here in Australia. Can't take too much stuff with me- luggage limits.
What would you recommend that I buy?

Also any ideas on travelling with a small bub?

    Thanks

Babies only need the basics, clothing nappies blankets somewhere to sleep and something safe to travel in. Get yourself a good sling for days out and i am sure you will find that will be enough for a few weeks. I remember with my first bubs i bought all these things that were apparently needed LOL and realised when my other bubs come along that you dont need all these things you can make do on the basics if you have too.
As long as bubs is warm and comfy thats all that matters. You will find the slings great for travelling too as when bubs is so little they will quite happily snuggle into you and sleep most of the time at least then your hands are free and you know your bubs is safe.

    Good luck with the move
