Thought i'd start a new thread for the Illawarra region girls out there who are currently TTC.

Do I fit in here. Not quite Illawarra but I doubt there is a south coast TTC list. I'll let you know tomorrow if I'll be on the list. Depending on DH's test results. We want another one but our life is on hold till then.

No worries chunkydunks. I have been reading ur journey recently & my heart goes out to u & ur hubby & family. Hope all goes well

I'd love to add u so im not all my my lil lonesome hehe.... Just thought i'd narrow down the TTC threads for a more "intimate" chat with locals etc. Been reading some very interesting stuff in the threads bout W'gong Hospital.

If and when we have another one I'll more than likely end up giving birth in Nowra. I have a feeling I'd be considered too high risk to have a "trouble free" birth. Milton hospital doesn't have an anithatist (sp) ATM so all high risks have to go to nowra.

Ah ok.. so your nearer to Milton? I used to live in Batemans Bay & had found a lovely Dr a couple of years before I moved to Syd.. wish I coulda taken him with me cos he was the best guy. LOL
Finally found a good Dr that got to the bottom of my problems of TTC in Syd, however moved from there as well. DOH! I still trvel back to see him if not urgent, thankfully it hasn't been bad. I am however needing to find a GP that does care here & I am very apprehensive.
I hate meeting new drs that give u the spiel on weight issues etc & having me feel bad after leaving. Knowing I need a GP then eventually (hopefully) an OB/Peadiatrician etc scares me when I know noone here.

Its all very daunting meeting new drs and all. We haven't been in Mollymook long but my family have lived here for about 7 years. That made it easier to find drs cos of the recommendations from them and their friends. Although none of them know the current dr we're dealing with cos she's new but when it comes to the time that i am pregnant only 2 drs in town do the OB side of things. Both come highly recommended and will be at the birth IF you give birth in Milton.

The only dr that ever lectured me on the weight thing was the gyn that diagnosed me with PCOS. Other than that I always tell them straight up that I know I have to lose weight and I'm working on it. Shuts em up pretty quick.

    Understood.

MMook, nice area Hope you like it there.

BBay was similar with Dr's etc.

I am obese, have PCOS, am only 148cm tall & am told for medical reason I will most probably need a C Section. I hope Shellharbour Hosp. look after me well LOL

    I hear ya there.

I'm 155cm and 110kgs, have PCOS, am diabetic (to what extent I find out tomorrow) and generally have no energy. i find it hard to maintain the house let alone do exercise.

I'd love to go back to Canberra or even my home town of Cootamundra to give birth. The latter because a family friend is a middy there and I'd love for her to attend my birth. I had DS at Calvary in Canberra and loved it. They were great. Not looking foward to the hour long trip while in labour if I have to go to Nowra.
