Yup - straight in the fridge is fine.
I boil a pot of water and stand my bottles in it.

congrats on the big express (I remember how excited I would be when I got a big one.)
I put mine straight in the fridge when I expressed it as long I wasn't mixing it with milk that was already in the fridge.
to heat it I boiled the kettle and then sat the bottle in the boiled water in a coffee mug. it doesn't need much water because the bottle takes up a lot of room. I spun it while it was in the mug to try and move the milk around while it was warming.
not to butt in, but I think that in other threads you have said that you have problems with supply. If you feed the ebm in the morning, don't forget to express so that your body knows that it needs to produce milk again the next morning.![]()

Just wanted to add that a great way to test the temp is to shake on your wrist - if you can't feel it, it's the right temp (body temp). (I always watched people do that but no one actually explained to me how to tell if it's too hot or cold, they just shook some on their wrist.)

I would also divide it and warm up sections at a time. That way if bub only drinks a bit of it you don't waste the whole 180 mls. If it is the morning when you read this just give the ebm a gentle shake to mix the fatty milk back in before you separate it.
Ebm is ok for a few days in the fridge, just not in the dorr where it doesn't get a regular temp.
Congratulations, but I also 2nd a pp in that if you give bub the ebm you'll have to 'let your body know' to make that much by expressing. However, don't get too panicked if you don't get another massive one

What impact will you have on another person's day?
I just sit the ebm bottle in a bowl of boiled water. It doesn't take long to heat.

I second the only heating up a bit at a time - it's heartbreaking to have to chuck out 100mls of hard-won breastmilk because your little tyke decides they really aren't that hungry this time.
Completely agree, you don't want to have to waste a single drop.
Yep, your supply will constantly vary, so don't feel like you don't have enough if you get less than last night.
Definately keep at it hun, the effort is so worth it!
