Damn PB, you got me excited. I saw the name of the thread and you as the OP and I thought "how exciting".
Oh well. Maybe another time eh?
Personally I only got MS at about the six week mark, but I have a friend who conceived on a Friday night and felt cruddy on the Sunday. She thought it was an extended hangover, but that hangover lasted four months!
technically the earliest m/s starts is around the 3/4wk mark, once the egg has implanted and HCG and progesterone rises, as this is what genrally causes m/s and pregnancy symptoms
there are a few bugs around at the mo, so maybe your friend has this?

Yes, yes, yes! I think mine started the day after conception and its going on and on and on and on.

Mine started at 4wks and went for the rest of the pregnancy!!
But my sense of smell went CRAZY not long after I concieved, within days. I was doing my usual groceries and got to the gardening isle. The smell of fertilizers etc made me dry retch - like this massive LOUD bend me over dry retch - bloody embarrassing in a shop full of people!!!
My husband's nana reckons she felt sick as soon as she had sex (I think it is all in her head - she is a bit of an exaggerator and ALWAYS right).
I don't think it can start straight away as the egg has to implant so that you create the HCG.
