Default Do you have a baby shower for subsequent pregnancies?

    Just Curious,

I had one for DD2 but not DD1 so i was wondering if you have them for all pregnancies?

I haven't had one yet so I'm definitely having one this time!!

I think for the first baby it's a really cool idea, but after the first I don't really like the idea of pressies and stuff, so I'm just going to invite people round and have yummy food and our bubs and bumps can hang out together for a bit.

I think it would be rude to expect people to buy you presents every time you have a baby, as thats what it would seem like to me.

I guess its ok if you say, strictly no presents, so people dont feel obliged.

Like instead of a baby shower, have a baby barbecue.

Both are quite ridiculous in wording..

I see nothing wrong with it!
This is my first, and will be having one for sure.

I guess you can compare it to whether you have a kitchen tea for each time you get married!?

Hi I never had one for DD1 or DS2 but for my DS3 , a good friend through me a surprise baby shower, so that was really nice, we are trying for number 4 and it would be nice to have some sort of get together before the baby, but it would be strictly no prezies!

i think it's ok to have more than one if you're kids are born a fair while apart (like 5-10ish years)....
