i have not seen one. maybe there are too many issues surrounding these olympics.
I was watching the womens water polo game today. great watching! It was 7 all when it finished, does this mean that both teams go through to the next round?

    There's isn't a thread I don't think!!

It's been exciting to watch! I get so unbelievably patriotic when the Olys are on! I could watch it ALL day even random events which I don't understand/care about ordinarily if there are some aussies in it!

    Thumbs up well done!

Just watched the 100m swim - with Eamon coming an incredibly close second - he seemed so dissapointed and said, he just wasn't good enough on the day - They work so hard to get there and put so much pressure on themselves - I hope they can relise how proud all aussies are of them whether they make a final or not! It's such an amazing feat to even be in the olympics!! As a total unco I'm so impressed by all of them!

I get quite emotional through the games! Even the McDonalds ad for the games makes me a little weepy!!

There is a 'shame on China for not letting the little girl who sang show her face because they thought she was ugly' thread and there is my 'Am I the only one who isn't watching the Olympics' thread.

Apart from that I haven't seen any.

quaver is right, there are way too many issues around this Olympics.

i just saw Eamon too. Great race though he did look disappointed.
I am still watching though i dont feel as excited as i usually do watching. I was going to start a thread but i was a bit afraid i might get jumped on.
These athletes are doing amazing things! They have worked so hard to get where they are and they deserve the credit anyway. I feel incredibly un fit!
I loved sydney games. My dh and i have an aim to save to go to London 2012! I would love to go again.
    jjb- i do the same.

I agree that China has stuffed up a fair bit but I just wanted to chat about our amazing olympians!! Like those amazing gymnastics girls - so young and so much pressure - a 6th place is awesome! Must say Michael Phelps is a machine - WOW! and that French Bernard bloke he's HUGE!!!!

Oh and the girls relay this arvo - I was on the edge of my seat screaming!!

No matter what China does I still love watching the athletes go for Gold! How corny!!

the girls relay was awsome. Their reaction was fantastic! great watching.
i was also amazed with the gymnastics last night. The individual men on the bars were great. THey are soooo built on top. Some big stacks though.
i am reminded of roy ang HG when i watch the gynastics though they were great!

The ad that makes me cry is the qantas ad with Leisel Jones - the one where they olympians carry the aussie spirit with them to beijing. lol i tear up!!!

and i tear up whenever we win gold and i hear the national anthem!

Anyone see Leisel Jones and Libby Trickett swim today? Leisel looked gutted (or maybe just breathless!)

I think Libby Trickett is the most amazing example of sportsmanship ever.

Oh and the girls relay - amazing! Can't wait to watch Kylie Palmer in the 800m free tomorrow...
