R.I.P Guido the Pug...........Our 1st Baby

We just had our beautiful dog put down

Guido, Male Pug, 12.5 years old.

He was getting really old..........was about 95% blind, starting to get a bad cough and also looked like his back legs were going on him. Last Friday night my 2 year old DD tripped and fell on him. She may have hurt him and probably would have given him a fright so in his defence he snapped at her and caught her on the lip. She is OK but we really couldn't risk it again. Never in a million years would I have thought I'd make the decision to put him down like this but I hope that it was the best thing to do and that we've saved him some pain from his old age.

Guido...............I will badly miss my cuddles with you but you have given us lots of happy and funny memories to cherish.

I hope you are now running around up in heaven, chewing on all your favourite things and that we'll meet again someday.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is an awful thing. I'm sure Guido is playing in heaven with all the best chew toys. My thoughts are with you and the rest of the S family at this time.

it is very hard to loose a baby like that. they are more than pets, they are like family.
