Had an antenatal the other day and the midwife checked my blood pressure which was 130/60.....it was a little up compared to what I am normally--the top numer anyway. So they decided to check urine for protein and it turns out I already had 2+ protein in my urine at 15.5 weeks.
I had hypertension with my last boy and was induced at 40 weeks, it wasn't classed as pre eclampsia but this time it looks like I will get this, so the dr said.
Basically I had to have heaps of blood tests, urine sent off to the lab and got told they would ring if they found anything etc.
I asked her what happens if I get this and she said that basically if I get preeclampsia I would be induced early or have to have a ceasar(unfortunately not the salad or the dressing)....
I've been told to stay clear of salty foods, oily or fatty foods or any tin or canned foods....I have morning sickness still and as alot of you would no this is pretty much all I feel like.
So what do I eat?
I'm scared stiff of this happening.
Has anyone had this this early on in pregnancy since it tends to start at 20 weeks?
Could it been due to the fact I hadn't had any water or anything to drink that morning and had gotten sick about half hour before my appointment?
Atleast the hospital hasn't contacted me.
