Default Fried rice help with flavour

Normally I put soy sauce in my fried rice (along with onion, egg, bacon, peas and mushroom)
Anyway I want to make it like the way you buy it at Asian take away shops (I am making lemon chicken) and I can visualise the fried rice being 'white' with pork. Dh doesnt normally like pork, but he likes it in their fried rice. How can I make the pork taste that way? Can I buy the pork already like that?

I used to work in a chinese shop. I'm a bit confused what you mean. Is it how to keep the pork white, or what flavours do they put into the fried rice... sorry I'm tired

You can buy it in most chinese shops..
Other wise marinate your own pork and then roast it..
The sauce is called char siu ( can be known as Chinese BBQ sauce).. You can buy in in most Asian grocers or coles/woolies should have it in the Asian section..
Or make it yourself.. A basic recipe is HERE..
