    Default Anyone else.....

hate their partner (hubby/boyfriend) being at home?

I know that might sound like a silly question but lately I can't stand him being home (hes home on the weekends and this week he took Friday off) don't get me wrong I love him but lately all we seem to be doing is arguing. He doesn't really do much around the house and I get annoyed at that, he yells at the kids all the time (not to say I don't yell at them too but I am home with them all week). I don't want my kids to be constantly yelled/screamed at by him (or me for that matter).

I think about going out for the day (just me) but don't want to leave the kids here to get screamed at. All he does is sit on the couch (granted he has a cold at the moment so I'll let it go this time) but thats all he does all weekend. I wish he'd go and fix the garden or get out and make a model aeroplane or something instead of just sitting around all day long.

He used to play cricket on Saturdays which was good because it got him out of the house to excerise and see his friends and we didn't argue as much. If he was playing at his home ground I'd take the kids sometimes and Hayley would play at the park.

I could've posted that myself! Same story - comes home sits on the couch and yells at DD for everything. I told him last night to snap out of it or go talk to someone about it because I've had enough!

If I told him that I he'd have a go at me too. I did tell him this morning not to yell at Hayley and he says "well I am sick of her whinging" which I can understand but still....

He got out before and mowed the lawn and sil came over with my nephew so he and Hayley played while Grant, me and K (sil) talked outside for about an hour so that was good. When people are here he doesn't yell as much. I think he needs a hobby and needs to see his friends a bit more often.

Yes! When DH is home too much, he gets bored and can start annoying the S*IT out of us. He's like an obnoxious, annoying brother. And he usually doesn't put his energy to good use by doing some chores either!

It's a relief when he has plans!
