    Default Southside Parks with Playground

Wondering if anyone can recommend a nice park where there is a playground for my DS to burn off some energy. Preferably around Sunnybank, Rochedale area however we are happy to drive to find a nice one. DS is a bit of an explorer so preferably one that isn't on too busy a road or if it is that the playground not be close to the busy road......... I am not too fast on my feet these days being 33 weeks pregnant!

Am meeting up with a friend and her little one is only 9 months but need something to entertain DS.

    Thanks

There is a great park in Kuraby- Svoboda park, beenleigh rd at stiller st. Nice musical park, lots of equipment and space for kicking a ball around. HOpe it helps.

On beenleigh Rd Sunnybank Hills (just past the Sunnybank Railway station and Stones Rd), there is a carpark near the scout hall and park including duck pond - so your DS can have a run around, play and feed the ducks. A little further up Beenleigh Rd (if you're energetic you could walk it 5 min or so) there is a park (on the corner of Wynne st), which is great too!!

    Svoboda Park is great too

I'm another that likes Underwood Park. There is a nice playground and there are also sports fields so if you just want to let him run around bring some balls or Frisbees and let him go. We've been doing that a fair bit with our 2 lately.
A little bit further is Alexandra Clark Park at Loganholme which has a couple of play areas in it and lots of room to run.
There is also a park at Meadowbrook, I can't remember it's name but it is "behind" the Logan Hospital. You follow the Rd all the way down and the park is at the end.

    I hope that helps.
