Question Advice Please?? Braxton Hicks or am i in labour?

    Hi Ladies,

    Need some advice please?
I am due to have my first any day now. It is 2.30 am i have been up and awake for 2 hours now with regular contractions every few minutes. They are really close together (3 or 4 minutes and i think they are lasting around 20 seconds. Am i simply having really intense BH? Or am i in labour? Man they hurt/really uncomftable i am having to really move around with each one. Have taken some panadol and tried a hot pack and a hot shower.

If i was in labour they wouldnt be so close together would they??

Sorry i know i probably sound stupid.

    Hey
I think you should give the maternity ward of the hospital you're going to a call. They should have given you the number at your antenatal appointments?
    Good luck with everything

    Hey!

I'd say it's definitely labour starting. As the pains are regular and they actually are starting to hurt! And they can( and probably will) potentially get a lot closer together in labour. Don't mean to scare you but I had literally no break in my contractions in the thick of it. Anyhoo....I really think this is it....will be watching our announcements thread like a hawk, lol. GOOD LUCK
