I really try to be a good cook. Sometimes I pull it off easily other times I fail dismally!

But I usually save the experiments for Angus. When I have to cook for others I usually stick to the basics, ie roasts in Winter, barbies in Summer.

I often cook for blokes working here so they're pretty easy to impress!

I pretend to be a bad cook but I can cook if I have too.

DP cooks every night at our place because he enjoys doing it and therefore his food tastes better!!

I must belatedly add, neither Angus or myself are exactly fading away so I can't be doing too bad!!

    I'm a good cook!

DH is a bad cook but in hindsight he might just be pretending so I do all the cooking.

Having said that he does do mean bacon and eggs which is the best "I can't be bothered" meal around in my opinion.

I love to cook and think I am pretty good (gauging from all the yum yum noise) but I must admit, when someone else cooks, it always tastes better.

    Why is that?

I consider myself a good cook. I mean, i wouldn't win any awards or anything but for just domestic cooking i think i do a good job! I love to cook and i love to get experimental! My husband loves my cooking and praises every meal which really helps.
