    Default Old cartoons/kid shows

    Heya everyone,

I'm new to BH but noticed a past thread where everyone was reminicing about their generation of music, ie. 80's. So funny!

    I too LOVE 80's music.

It made me nostaligic and eventually led to... I dont know how... to old kid's shows.

When I was a kid I loved Astro Boy and now my 6yo son loves him too. I get such a kick of out that!

And Fraggle Rock, G-Force, Monkey Magic...

Anyone want to share what old cartoons/shows you remember when you were a kid?

Oh yeah!! Punky Brewster! I loved her - even had the mismatched punky brewster signature socks! I still remember my dad taking the washing off the clothesline in winter and being left with these odd socks in his hands and looking bewildered when mum told him they were a pair

And She-ra for sure! I still have her figurine and Swiftwind - Oh how I LOVED Swiftwind!!

What a stroll down memory lane! I loved Degrassi and Henderson Kids. The cartoons were Astro Boy for sure and G-Force. Does anyone remember a cartoon called 'Gem'? I used to love that one too.

I also loved Punky Brewster and remember watching shows like Murder She Wrote and Matlock and Home Improvement as family shows.

Astro Boy, Fraggle Rock, Tom and Jerry, all those Looney Tunes shows that were on. Can't think of any more right now, although we didn't have the tv on that much either. Got our first tv when I was in preschool and Playschool was and still is a favourite. My daughter watches it every Monday and we often do activities from it afterwards.

ETA: Just realised this was the 30 something parents thread, sorry.
