    Question How often..?

How often does your breastfeed baby poo?

My DD often goes up to 4 days but this time its been over 5, im getting worried and I can tell she really needs to do one!

I never had this problem with DS

By the time DS was about 4 months old he was only pooing once every 7 days. Once he went for 9 days LOL.

    Never bothered him though.

I thought it was great, I was so bummed when he started solids and then it was poo on a daily basis ...

Our MCHN told me that a breastfed baby can go every 12 hours, or every 12 days. My DS usually goes 2 or 3 times a week, but he's just started teething i think, so it's been 4 times today already!

If you want to encourage her to do number 2's, try massaging her tummy, or giving her more tummy time. I also find the bicycle legs helps my DS.

Good luck...i get really scared when it's been a while for DS cos i know it's going to be massive and usually messy!!

At one stage DD1 was going every two weeks. That was fun!

Elora goes every few days... I don't pay much attention, lol.

The longest my DD went for was about 11 days and I was prewarned by the breastfeeding clinic and my CHN so thankfully I was aware of it otherwise I would have freaked out..... but oh my goodness when she did go it was EXPLOSIVE and no nappy was big enough to fit all that excess....

The worst my CHN saw was a baby that hadn't gone for 19 days and they were beginning to get worried....

    about the explosions

When DD does go I wouldnt say its a HUGE poo considering its been days and its not too runny either.

Anyway after doing some googling (I need to stop doing this, read too much different info ) I dont need to give her anything for it, I was going to give her some water and brown sugar but no need unless really constipated with hard poos...

OHHH also does ur darlings fart like there is no tomorrow and are they rotten??? LMAO

    Once every 10 days.

We had to batten down the hatches for those ones. I can tell ya!
