Nervous!

Hi Ladies,

I'm so nervous..

DP will be home in 10 days after 6 months of being deployed.. I'm excited, anxious, nervous.. So many emotions!

I don't know what to do with myself.. Do i get my hair done and nails done? A spray tan? Buy a new outfit? Aaarrggghh!!

Anyway just needed to tell someone!

yep i did all that and that was just for DPs March Out. Goodness knows what i'll be like after his first deployment.

Treat yourself, make yourself feel special, even though he's going to be thrilled to see you regardless.

Congratulations on him coming home and to you for making it through to the other end.

When DH goes away I generally end up buying new clothes and have a new hairdo so there is no need for me to fancy myself for his home coming cos I'll be 'new' for him lol.

It's certainly been a trying 6 months, especially since this is our first deployment since being together.. not his first of course since he's been in since he is about 18 or whatever.. But it's been well worth it, i'm just excited to think about all the fun stuff we can do when he's back.. i' looking forward to a cuddle anytime i need it!

I'm thinking a new hairdo, outfit and a spray tan as i'm so white and it's certainly not warm enough to get a nice natural tan.. Don't want to look like death on legs!
