Question Need a replacement for my hair!

DD is nearly 8 months and for the last month or so has taken to playing with my hair when she feeds or settles to sleep. She reaches up, runs her fingers through it, grabs hair pulls it towards her face and rubs it on her face and even rubs her eyes with it. Problem is she is quite rough at times and breaks it, my poor hair is already in terrible condition since heaps fell out since having her now it has only just stopped falling out and she is ripping more out! It is shoulder length and i struggle to get my head low enough for my hair to reach her face, i dont have a choice she pulls my head down!
If i tie it up or keep it out of the way her little arm is stretched out feeling for it and eventually she will get upset. During the day to she has a bit of a hair fetish and loves to feel and pull (and suck on if she can!) peoples hair...
I have tried substituting with her 'taggie' blankie (little ribbons sewed on the blankie square) which is part of her beftime routine anyway, my bola chime ball that hangs around my neck and her furry teddy bear but nothing else seems to be good enough.

I was hoping to try to substitute with... well... hair... like long dolly hair or something.. but i have not seen any dolls with long hair, apart from like a barbie which isnt really suitable for a baby that young..

does anyone happen to know of a doll they have or have seen that would be something I could try, im thinking i could hold onto it and get her to play with that instead.

    or any other ideas?

You need to invest in a good BF necklace. Have a google there are some really good ones out there with bells etc on them.
