Hi, I saw this thread on my favourite bubby website and thought I just have to throw my two cents worth in. I recently had an extreme adverse drug reaction to a normal antibiotic that nearly killed me (extremely rare apparently). I was sent home from 2 hospitals on three occasions with 'an anxiety disorder', they were dead wrong. I had extreme problems for 2 months following this and went to many doctors. I started seeing another Doctor and she agreed with the reaction I had but still said I was suffering for anxiety. ANxiety, who would not be furious at people saying there was nothing wrong when you no dame well there is something more. So for another 4 weeks I had major trouble breathing and pains in my chest. I begged for an x-ray which revealed I had pneumonia, I also found through another Doctor that my Thyriod was not functioning as it should. So the drama goes on.
But all I really want is for everyone to just double check with lots of Doctors if they think it might possibly be something else.
