Yeah, he does have reflux, maybe that's it. we're back at the paed next Thursday, so hopefully I can get some answers then. We still haven't found that 'perfect' dose of losec yet, so maybe once we do it might go away?

    Default My prem baby

My daughter was born delivered 4 weeks early due to pre-eclampsia, shes 7month old now, and has her own little attitude we were in hospital for 3weeks in total, she was in special care for 8 days, being tube fed and on to a drip, it was hard thought, because i asked the midwife several times could i hold my daughter and the answer was no. It was hard but she got out of special care was roomed with me for 2days and we got out, she was soo tiny, my family and friends thought it was difficult to hold her as she was small, i didn't! i knew she was small, but it was difficult to hold her.

    hello fellow wee one mummies!!!
i do believe i may know a few of you already! lol

anyway for those that dont know me - i have 2 prems and 2 full termers.

    Bub:
    ds2 : Hayden - now 2yrs + some mths!
ds3: William - now 12 weeks and 1 day old!

    Gestational age at birth:
    DS 2: 32wks 2166gm
    DS 3: 30wks 1502gm

    Time in NICU/SCU:
DS 2: 15 days in scn, 5 hrs of cpap, jaundice (persisitant devil of a thing), started breast feeds at 3 days old.
DS 3: 5 weeks in hospital - 3 days (roughly) in nicu, the rest in scn. 1 day on vent, 12 hrs on cpap, lost approx 200gm in first few days (i blame it on mummy not being there, due to wanna be super man brother in the picu!), he started breast feeds rather soon (i cant say all the exact details as simply i cant remebr off the top of my head - got other things to think of right now!).

    Ongoing issues:
    DS2: nothing
DS3: hearing issues, fluid in his ears atm, and possible reflux on the cards - dr visit tomorrow!

    Reason for prematurity:
PPROM for both! (following PROM @38 weeks with ds1!)

Hi hope all the lil prem's r doing well I had a pead appointment yesterday (dd is 9months 7+1 corrected) he was happy with dd except her weight she on the 25% with weight and height so I didnt think it was a problem but he wants me to try feeding her more soilds(she has them 3x a day) so Il just try and feed her more.
DD is now getting onto her knees so soon she will be on the move, rolling all over the place and seem's to have grown into a real screamer if she isnt getting any attention she screams at the top of her lungs such a diva.
