    Hi!

My daughter Natalie was born at 30 weeks and 3 days weighing in at 1290grams. Spent a week and a half in NICU then the remainder in SCN. She was born by emergency c section after our placenta abrupted, starving my poor girl of oxygen and nutrients. Natalie is now 10 months old and thriving!!!

My DD wasn't as premmie as others but I thought I would add her anyways

    Bub:
DD, now just over 8mths old, 7mths corrected

    Gestational age at birth:
    35wks 4days weighing 2480grams (5lbs 7oz)

    Time in NICU/SCU:
spent 3 and a half weeks in the SCN we narrowly avoided the NICU

    Complications at birth:
Severe respiratory distress, jaundice, was on CPAP for 4 days, humidicrib on oxygen for week, then open crib with oxygen for 4 days, then it was trying to get her to feed, she tired very easy

    Ongoing issues:
We don't really have any ongoing issues as such, apart from her feeding both with solids and breastfeeding/formula, i'm not sure weither its due to her being premmie or if its just her

    Reason for prematurity:
PROM with no natrual labour in sight I have hystory of PROM and can go weeks and weeks without going into labour

    Hi

I'm Carolyn and I live in Adelaide

    Babies

    DS1 23 months, 22 months corrected
    DD1 4 months , 2 & 1/2 months corrected
    DD2 4 months , 2 & 1/2 months corrected

    Gestational age at birth

    DS1 36weeks 2025gms
    DD1 34weeks 1330gms
    DD2 34weeks 2330gms

    Time spent in NICU/SCU

    DS1 12days in SCN
    DD1 6weeks in SCN
    DD2 6weeks in SCN

    Ongoing issues

DS1 Still going through a lot of tests but so far we know he has sensory issues and global developmental delay.

DD1 & DD2 too early to tell yet but they are hitting their milestones so far.

    Reason for prematurity

DD1 Was picked up at 35 weeks that he was small and they think he stopped growing at 32 weeks so we don't know what sort of nutrients he missed out on in that time. IUGR was the main issue

DD1 & DD2 Being twins I was always told they were going to be born early. Olivia had IUGR and they were having trouble picking her up easily in scans and ctg's and Lauren would have been a good size had she gone full term.

    Nice to meet you all
