    Default big feet getting bigger

has anyone found over the years the shoe sizes are getting smaller ? i wonder if its a result of who the production is contracted out to. or is it a result of past pregnancies.....either way, i have always been a size 41 or a 10, but now i'm finding it harder and harder to fit into shoes, especially lengthways. has anyone else gone up a size over the years or after pregnancy???

Yippee some who has big feet like me. I went to 3 shops the other day just to find a pair that fit. It's bad enough knowing that you have feet the size of paddles, but I get annoyed when they ask what size you are " Oh size 10" yes just get me some shoes please.

I think pregnancy definately has something to do with it. During pregnancy I couldn't fit into any of my shoes, lucky it was summer during the end of it!

I can fit into all of them again including my size 5 1/2 heels ( ) but all my shoes fit a little tighter now.

My feet are strange (along with the rest of me )

When I lost a stack of weight many (many) years ago, my shoe size went down also . Since having DS I've gone up a size too. I also have size 10 thumpers - it's like walking around with flippers on

Are you girls complaining about size 10 shoes????

Try having size 12-13 or an 11 in males.

It is impossible, most of the time i walk around in thongs. I hate having big feet, i never get to wear nice shoes. Ive only got 1 pair and that was a fluke and now they are wearing out

and sometimes i think i look like a transvestite when i wear heels ( i don't wear heels unless i have to)./....anyway, i have been on the look out for shoes for ages, and, even i;m getting fussier, or there's nothing good at the moment.
and don't they just love telling you that they sold out of the 10s...and that they don't get many of them in........why i ask, you sell out of them because people need them....get more in.
so the big feet and big boobs threads are going down a treat. maybe i should start the 'hairy mumma' thread........i'm of eastern european stock.....gotta love that!

I had a size 8 to 9 foot before I had dd, know im a size 10. And the other day the size 10 didnt fit so I had to get a size 11 Its weird because Im only 5'4 (163cm) tall, so Im pretty short and have big feet, even bigger after dd.

    Yep im with you!!

I have a size 12 womens foot - now that I am preggers I am really hopeing that they wont get bigger...but time will only tell.

I would love to be able to walk into a shop and get a pair from the shelf...it just doesnt happen....and shoes size 11 & up are usually so much more expensive

Oh god so my feet are potentially going to go up a size? Fantastic. That'd bring me close to a 13 in ladies.

It's a nightmare trying for find decent shoes in big sizes and I am so sick of having to go and buy men's boots or something to fit my boats. I think my main problem is the width. Occasionally I will find a nice pair that fits in length, but they just don't have my width.

My fiance has the same problem as well. He's between a size 12 and 13 (men's, obviously ) and it's a nightmare trying to find him a decent pair of shoes. Especially when he has to have steel caps for work!
