Savoury Rice - cook rice via slow absorbtion method in stock

Bring stock to boil -add rice, dried herbs, salt, dried onion and garlic - what ever, bring back to boil, turn off or simmer for a while with the lid on. Warm and drain before serving. The drained stock can also be added to gravey.

I also throw in peas and corn and finely chopped carrot.

I'm not sure about saudages in slow cooker, however I dry fry, remove, wipe off excess fat and cut up.

Drain most of the fat from frypan, and make gravey in frypan with meat juices, a little stock and corn flour, add garlic, and curry and pepper to taste - maybe also any other spices/herbs in cupbroard. When gravey is cooked I put the sausage peices back in

It tastes better the next day reheated
